Sealed transmissions..

How the h3ll you supposed to fill them up if you have a leak? ..if there's anything you can do your self ..or should I take it somewhere like lube stop to have them top it off?

  1. They are not "sealed" as in permanently closed off they just dont have a dipstick and fill tube readily accessable.  My general rule for this type of work is if you cant figure it out from reading a service manual of some sort then you shouldn't be messing around with it.  This also applies to engine work and especially airbags.  If you cant figure out the simple disarming procedure by reading it then you shouldn't be messing around with it.


  2. They still have fill plugs, just no dipstick tubes that ding dongs can just dump **** into. A lube shop can certainly check the level and top it off if required.
