Sealife ecoshot digital camera 320?

Question

the above mentioned camera is an underwater camera that i'm am considering to buy. however there is no optical zoom in the stats, only 4x digital zoom.

does anyone know of any accessory or lens attachment that could give clear optical zoom? or any type of additional zoom for that matter. remember that it is for underwater use.

also, is an external flash or light necessary, or could good quality pictures be taken without them?

A flash doesn't work underwater.  It's like trying to take a flash picture in fog.  For an external light, how deep are you going to be?  If you're near the surface in the daytime you won't need it.
