Former Arsenal goalkeeper and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Seaman has gone on to assure everyone that it is not Arsene Wenger’s fault that the Gunners find themselves in such a forgettable situation.
The North London club have failed to win a trophy for seven years, and this past weekend, when the team took on Aston Villa, the Gunners fans seemed to really be developing a negativity towards the manager.
There were chants directed at the manager which suggested he didn’t know what he was doing, which if anything are rather premature to say the least.
Seaman, who had been at the club for nearly thirteen years has gone on to assure everyone that at the end of the day, it is the players who have to win the games and not the manager.
The former number 1 is reported to have said: "For me it's not the manager where the restrictions are, it's the financial restrictions"
"Arsene Wenger was getting a load of stick from the Arsenal fans and there was a chant going round 'Can we have our Arsenal back?'”
"Say they didn't have a manager at the moment and Arsene Wenger was out there with his track record, they would take him any day."
However, Seaman isn’t a fan of the way the club is losing its top players, and looking to profit as opposed to having the best possible squad that they can.
He went on to add: "When Arsene came it was a given that they'd be in the Champions League all the time and we were winning things as well, but you can't do what they're doing at the moment and expect to win trophies."
Many feel that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 has started to operate as a business, with the owners looking to make a profit off the players, as opposed to them actually wanting the club to do good.
Despite what the owners might be planning, it is impossible to state that Wenger doesn’t want to do that, what is best for the team.
Nonetheless, it is now a wait to see just what the manager does to answer the club’s fans and prove just how good he is once again.
