Search bars not saving searches ?

Question

for some reason when I type in a search on the search bars it is not saving them for future reference. If i left click to select all theres never anything there. and nobody is clearing them.

Open inet options in the control panel and choose a number of days to save history. You should use the scroll arrow to see recent history. In view above enter toolbars. In customize add history to the second row. Use that to view the entire history once it fills.

It sounds like Auto Complete is disabled. To enable it click on Tools, Internet Options, Content, Auto Complete, and then see if the Web Addresses, Forms, and User Names and Passwords on Forms options are checked. If not check them and be sure to click ok at the bottom. That should fix things for you if you have Internet Explorer.
