If I wanted to have a url to sell a particular item... Let's say "bread baskets"... can having a URL like highqualitybreadbaskets.com or the worldsbestbreadbaskets.com or weonlyhavebreadbaskets.com hurt my Search Engine rankings?

I want a URL with the objects I sell in the URL, but I'm having trouble finding simple URLs that don't cost $1000.

  2. use this, http://www.craigslist.org/

  3. what about www.bread-baskets.net

  4. hello,

    http://www.craigslist.org/

    regards,

    raom.

  5. I think you are looking for a domain. Having your keyword in the domain name is an added seo advantage. At the end of the day, the domain does not matter, Yahoo and google means nothing but they are a huge success..

You need not buy a costly domain but can start with the $9 domains from godaddy.com

  6. Don't worry too much about the URL by a URL that is short and simple search engines primarily look at the content of your website to see where you rank.

For example eBay.com, as you can see their URL says nothing about online auctions.

So you can think about the unique URL that you'd like to purchase by ex-and spend more time on content and thinking about which URL to get to not spend thousand dollars on for a URL.
