Search shortcuts has photos from emails long ago deleted...how do I get rid of the photos?

It seems like the photos in this shortcut are every single photo I ever attached or received . Help...I want to delete many if not most of them. There is not an option to delete when you navigate to the shortcut....right click has no option...I can't even delete the shortcut.

1. From the Photo View: Click on the Subject link located directly below the photo thumbnail. This will display the message that contains the file attachment. On this page, you can click the Delete button to delete the message and the attachments.

2.From the Attachment View: Click on the Message Subject for the thumbnail. This will display the message that contains the file attachment. On this page, you can click the Delete button to delete the message and the attachments.

3. From the Message View: Click the checkboxes next the messages you would like to delete, then click on the Delete button at the top of the page.You can also click on the Subject of the message to view the message, then delete the message from that page.
