Searchin for a car?

my budget is 3000 if the cars is a few hundred more thats ok.

my question is what type of car (what year) could i get ?

if this helps im a 17 year old girl soon to be 18 i need a car for work and school.

something that gets good gas millage of course..

i've been searching craigslist for like 2 months and havent found really anything.

are there any other good websites and where else should i search?

a chevy malibu is a piece of c**p car do not buy it

if i was you ya i would look at hondas nissan or toyotas. you dont have a lot of money to work with and these 3 car makes would be the most reliable
