I remembered watching a movie a few years ago, and would now like to recall it's title. If you know any kind of movie that SOME HOW MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW, please suggest it... (The movie you suggested might have some of the points below, or might not have some, anyway, just suggest it.) Don't tell me A Cinderella Story or The Princes Diaries, cause I've seen them.
1) The Main Character is a teenage girl, which is somewhat like, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, or maybe even Avril Lavinge, and maybe around 16-20+ years old.
2) The story is something like.. the teenage girl has lived with her mother for very long, and they are some what poor. Her father is divorced with her mum, and he has his own family living somewhere else. If I remembered properly, the father didn't even know he had a daughter with someone else. The father is some presidential candidate for that country, I guess. At some point, or maybe around in the beginning, the girl was working in a low down and shabby hotel. Then, one day, for some reason, (i think the mother died) she had to go find this father she had never even met before. The father's family didn't really accept her at first, but somewhere in the middle, the father accepted her. She also had this boyfriend, who does jobs and is quite poor. I remember a scene, where she went shopping along those street shops with her boyfriend and had a nice time. The boyfriend was not accepted by the family at first also. I also remember that the wife of the girl's father, (the wife was not the mother) was handicapped and on the wheelchair, i think.
3)The movie has Princes and Cinderella feel to it.
Yeah, I know the stuff above is kinda messy, but if you are able to recall a movie something like that, please answer this question. The movie is around the 2000s to present period, so don't think that i'm searching for a very old movie. It's not old at all but very modern. I appreciate your help.
