*Searching for answers here*?

Question

I am not quite sure what these should be under exactly, but here goes. I am a 58yr old lady whom lives in Vallejo, California and i am trying to find an actual *GRANT* site to go to that is real!!! I am in a situation which has got to change for me and my friend. I am Disabiled as well as my friend and am about to loose the roof over our heads unless i can find away to help us. And right off the bat, my friend cannot recieve Disability at this point. We both have no where to go no family members to help. I never thought i would be in this situation:{ Being homeless is not an option here, my friend and i could never survive. I will not abandon him either he has become my care giving you could say:} Every door i have tried to open so far has just slammed shut on me:} And i pray every day for guidance and answers. I am totally lost now and scared to the point of beings physically ill:{ Anyone out here got a suggestion, pls:}

I'm very sorry to hear about your situation.  However, I don't think this is the right site for answers (since I am the first since you posted).  Try googling US Government Grants and see what comes up.  Also, try faith-based organizations in your area.  Sometimes there are charitable organizations that can help.  Look through the other Yahoo categories to see if there is a site that more accurately addresses your needs.  I wish you all the best.  Your last sentence is also the best place to start.  There is a God, and He does care and answer those who call upon Him.  May He bless you and help you through this difficult situation.  Let me know if you find any help.   I'll pray for you too.
