Sears Stores Closing???

Question

I've heard tell-about of Sears stores closing this year. I've Google'd and Yahoo!'d this, but I've not found anything for this year. My grandmum and her friend, both of whom work at Sears, and some of their other co-workers were discussing this and are unsure if this is true. A friend of my mum's has also stated that there may be a closing-- a closing of the Sears Contract Sales here in Augusta, Georgia. Does anyone know if any of this is true?

There may be a few individual stores closing. But the entire chain won't be.
