Question:

Seasonique Birth Control?

I was wondering if anyone could help me with any information on going OFF of the Seasonique Birth Control... I would like to stop taking this pill due to certain side effects. My main concern is; I know I will begin to bleed, but for how long will this bleeding occur? I will be going to Pennsylvania (just for a weekend) but I am on my 1st pack of Birth Control EVER and the 1st pack of Seasonique EVER and just started on the 3rd “case”. Today is June 22nd and I leave for Pennsylvania on July 11th. Will my bleeding last until my trip? Or, will I bleed like my regular period and then get my period again in July? I hope this all makes sense and please do not critize me. I am new at all of this and yes I will be asking my doctor on Monday about this, but I want to know from anyone who has been on Seasonique or is on Seasonique if they have ever done this. And no, I will not be going back on this pill if I do get off. Thank you so much to any one who can help me with this.

  1. lol i saw the commercial for that c**p. and quite frankly the list of side effects suck. I would rather get pregnant than die of a blood clot, heart attack, stroke and etc.

  2. I had to stop taking it because of spotting.  When I stopped taking them, my flow returned for about 5 days (I'm usually a 3-4 day flow).  Then I continued to spot off and on weekly for another 3-4 weeks. Very unpleasant and using that gave me the total opposite of what I wanted it to do.
