yes its really cool to get a ticket or die from a minor crash.  my sis was in an accident, one that totaled her car, she walked away from it with one long bruise, from the seatbelt, can you imagine what would have happened if she wasnt wearing it?  she probably would have been dead. you're a dumbass they put those in cars for a reason

Maybe by kids! for most adults though it is kind of irresponsible and ignorant not to wear a seat belt. It only takes one accident, and it may not even be your fault, but at that time it's a little late to decide if you want to be "SMART" and alive or "cool" and severely injured or dead.

Imagine running as fast as you can - into a wall. You'd expect to get pretty banged up.

Bad enough at 15 miles an hour, but a 30 miles you hit "the wall" four times as hard as you would at 15.

Or to put it another way, with the same impact you'd feel as if you fell three stories.

Cool? I don't think so. It is outright foolish. It only takes one time to make you regret it. They can do without the air bags but not the seatbelts.
