FINALLY first time at MCG and love to know if good seats.

Section M8 Row CC

Do rows start at AA and this is third row?

Wondering if "too" close to fence or will be able to all of the action? OHHH I am SOO excited to finally see this masterful game played live.

  1. I dont think there are any bad seats at the MCG!  You get a great view wherever you sit - its an awesome stadium and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Go to the ticketmaster/ticketek website and they will have a seating arrangement map for the MCG so you can check your seats.

Hope you have a great time!!

  2. You need to know the Bay, Section and Row/Seat.

You can see a seating plan for the G in a number of sites.  I think Ticketmaster has a fairly good plan.

I'm pretty sure the rows start at A ... Z, AA ....AZ, BA ... BZ, CA ... CZ.

At the G you don't want to be too close to the front becasue the ground is curved - it's hard to see the other end of the ground from anything closer than about 10 rows to the fence.

Take special note of the Gate you're using to get in by the way and which end of the ground its nearest.  It's on your ticket and if you get it wrong it can be a one kilometre extra walk from the wrong train station!!

  3. The previous answers in regards seating numbers are close to being right ! however they are not right about being close to the fence ( re the ground being curved ) i believe that last year the MCG removed the ground curve and now it is fairly flat!!  correct me if i am wrong!!
