I've always wanted to sit down by the glass to watch the leafs play up close but sadly i cant pay the price to do it... If next year i buy tickets in like the green section (upper bowl) and then at intermission I go to an empty seat would i get in trouble... are there people by the gates watching all the time?

  1. I have a split package in the reds (they're mine, and I sublet half the games out due to travel- a neighbour of mine takes about 35-40% of the games), so from my experiences, your chances aren't good.

If the Leafs defence were as tough as the ushers in the lower bowl they'd have made the playoffs.

The Platnium seats (the ones on the glass) are all part of the 'prawn sandwich' brigade, enjoying caviar and fine wine at the intermission in the Air Canada Club.

I feel your pain, but the last thing MLSE wants is some Bay St. bigwig to come to his seat only to have it occupied.

  2. I've been to many games at the ACC it just depends on the usher. Some of them don't care but some of them do. I've done it before and gotten rejected also.

  3. yeah im pretty sure you'll get in trouble! im sorry! but it would be great to do that!

  4. They have ushers that check tickets to stop people from doing that.  And I would hope that there wouldn't be too many empty seats next to the glass.

  5. Not at the ACC have I done that, but I do it almost every game I go to that is in Dallas. You will only get in trouble if you get caught, but it is definitely worth the risk.

  6. ha noooo....before i had season tiks on the glass at the wild games i would buy nose bleed seats, scope out some on the glass seats or near the glass , then after the 1st period i skip down there with a smile!!
