  1. i wanna leave in cali!

  2. I absolutely hate it.  We moved here 8 months ago and I have never been so miserable in my life.  The weather is horrible, all it does is RAIN.  The people are standoffish, the cost of living compared to Dallas is insane.  The traffic is awful.  I am so glad to be leaving here in 3 weeks for good.

  3. 21 Years In Seattle and love it.

Moved here from Birmingham, AL.  Talk about CULTURE SHOCK!

Seattle has been very good to me. I was 29 yrs old when I got here.

I have been able to make a good and satisfying life here.

I've seen a lot of changes in that time and I don't fancy some of them. But that is OK.

We have great weather, the water, the mountains and the Mountain!

I recently, in the last 18 months have had a battle with cancer,AND winning!!  I am so thankful to be here with our wonderful medical facilities and research.  World Class!

    Seattle is Home!

Rudie, I have found real Mexican food here!

  4. I'm from Hawaii but then I moved to Seattle when I was 9 and have been living in Seattle ever since ( I'm 19 now ). I love seattle =] everything about it is amazing and unique! even the people =] I'm happy that my parents move me here cause everyone from school ask me "why would your parents move from paradise to this place" all I have to say is that Seattle has a lot to offer especially jobs like MICROSOFT and BOEING!

  5. Moved here from Colorado 14 years ago and you will never get me to leave.  Seattle has everything that Colorado has except the high heat in the summer and the freezing cold in the winters. There is also the added enjoyment of fresh seafood.

I love looking out my kitchen window to see if the "mountain is out".  I have two stages in the sun... burn and peel, so I love the grey "sunshine" we have.

Rudie, I have to admit, your assessment of local Mexican food is dead on.  I too have risked life and limb eating off a taco truck, just to get a taste of real mexican food.

    Nate, if you have discovered a secret place, please share it with me.  I have taken to having my Mexican food fixin's shipped to me from Colorado so I can make it myself.  :-}

This is home and they will have to pry my fingers out of the bark on the Hemlock tree to drag me out of here.

  6. I love Seattle.  Despite the coffee, even

  7. Well, I"ve lived here 15 years after moving from SoCal (San Diego to be exact) and I love it too!!!  Things I miss: REAL beaches, and REAL Mexican food.  Whenever I go back to San Diego, the first thing I want to do is grab a carne asada burrito from Roberto's and go down to Ocean Beach.  The only good Mexican food I've had in Seattle is from a taco truck, and I know I'm probably risking my life every time I eat at one...  :-)

I'm living in australia and planning to move there ASAP with my best friend. (when i can afford it!)

I'm going to study acting at university and hopefully i'll move there when i can afford it. I hear there are lots of great theatres there and i'm dying to see america. :)

  10. I moved here from Michigan 5 years ago, and I consider it the single best decision I've ever made ~ I LOVE IT HERE!

I love the weather, the scenery, the culture, the people...pretty much everything except the traffic!!
