Seattle Mariners ease past Houston Astros 10-7 – MLB Recap
Seattle Mariners ease past the Houston Astros 10-7 in the first game of their three-match regular series encounter on July 19 at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
The Mariners showed great temperament throughout the game and won with style. They played wonderfully and rattled the Astros’ entire roster with big force.
"I was obviously pumped after the first one, hitting the ball well, I was just trying to have another good at-bat and I was able to get another one," Miller said.
Mariners’ talented batters and pitchers played as one unit and remained calm throughout the game. They pitched and batted very well and eventually defeated the Astros with big margin.
"I didn't see it originally off the bat and then I saw Maxwell turn. I'm like: 'Gosh, he's like 7-foot tall. He's about to do something, He was sizing up the wall, and I'm like: 'Just go.' And luckily it just got out of his reach," Miller said of the 6-foot-5 Maxwell.
Shortstop Brad Miller played well and gave the Mariners’ good start early in the game. He scored two runs and three hits. He ran for five RBIs on his five at bats. His wonderful batting alone provided the Mariners a great platform which at last landed them a fine win.

Third baseman Kyle Seager also played well on his five at bats. He scored one run on one hit on his two RBIs. He played well and remained calm on his persistent slugging percentage of .492.
