  1. China Harbor in Westlake

2040 Westlake Avenue North, Seattle, WA 98109

    Phone #: (206)286-1688  Fax #: (206)213-0501

On the waterfront on Lake Union. They have a ball room upstairs and dancing on weekend nights, I think. Pre their web site:

Meetings . Seminars . Banquets To 500 People . Weddings Dinner Dances . Holiday Parties For All Your Special Occasions.

  2. Palisade has a really nice side room that can be rented out.  It's in Magnolia, so in between downtown and Ballard, but it's a really nice space in a really nice restaurant that will hold 50 people, just past the bar.

  3. I can tell you the perfect place!! I've been planning a birthday party for my girlfriend, so I've been looking everywhere. Try Pasta Freska on Westlake. I went there to try out the place. The gentleman that owns it is renting out the entire restaurant for my party. He is serving us an 8 course meal for $24 a person. That's right, an 8 course meal. I thought it was too good to be true. I went there & he gave me a sample meal. I had pasta, halibut, eggplant Parmesan, chicken Marsala with spinach and pine nuts, steak.... and the list goes on. He can accomodate vegatarians as well. He will close the restaurant down for you. You just have to spend at least $1000 flat. That will be easy with 50 people. Wine and beer are very reasonable. Check it out!!

  4. If you are looking for just a get together, with food and drinks, I've had good success with The Deluxe on Broadway In Capitol Hill.

It's bar stools and standing room only but I always enjoyed the events I held there.

You can rent out the pool room and have a private server, pool etc.... At a minimum food charge and the cost  for renting the tables.
