Against Washington Redskins
After winning two straight games, Seahawks came close to winning the third, but Washington Redskins rallied in the final quarter to edge past Seattle Seahawks.
The game was level at 7-7 at halftime, but Seattle got the lead in the third quarter, when Steven Hauschka scored a field goal.
The lead was stretched further when Seahawks scored a touchdown in the final, but Redskins accelerated remarkably in the last 10 minutes of the game.
They scored two touchdowns and a field goal to win the game, 23-17.
Seahawks were still struggling in terms of passing as Jackson was unable to control throwing interceptions. He did it once in this game and received a quarterback rating of 69.3.
Against Philadelphia Eagles
Jackson displayed his best performance of the season till that game when Seahawks hosted Philadelphia Eagles.
Although he did not send enough passes, the noticeable achievement was his pass accuracy.
He completed 13 out of 16 attempted passes for 190 yards and sent one touchdown while avoiding any interceptions. He got a quarterback rating of 137.0.
Seahawks got the lead early in the first quarter and maintained it successfully by registering points in ever quarter.
The final score settled at 31-14.
Against St. Louis Rams
St. Louis Rams was seeking revenge when Rams visited Seattle, but Seattle was not going to treat them nicely, especially not when they had found their momentum.
Jackson was once again brilliant as he avoided interceptions yet again.
Seahawks got a 10-point lead in the first quarter and maintained it successfully until the end.
Jackson sent a touchdown pass while running back, Marshawn Lynch, rushed for 115 yards on 23 carries for one touchdown as Rams lost another game, 30-13.
At Chicago
The second half of the season was proving to be fruitful for Seahawks, who had won four out of their last five games when they visited Chicago to play against the Bears.
Bears scored two touchdowns in the first half, while Seahawks could score only one. However, they responded sharply in the second half.
Seahawks capitalised on two interception returns for touchdowns, while Lynch rushed for another one. Not only that, Jackson also came into action and sent a touchdown pass.
Seahawks scored a total of 31 points in the second half and sealed the victory, 38-14.
Against San Francisco 49ers
Seahawks were 7-7, and had two games left in the season. They could have qualified for the playoffs had they won them, but that was not the case.
Out of the last two games, first one was against San Francisco 49ers, who had already qualified for the postseason by dominating the West.
Aiming to improve their record to get a wildcard entry into the playoffs, Seahawks took on the 49ers, but were unsuccessful.
In a close encounter, in which the 49ers relied more on field goals, Seahawks got the lead with around six minutes left in the game.
However, David Akers scored a field goal for 49ers in the last three minutes to give his team a close victory, 19-17.
At Arizona
Seahawks played their last game of the season against Arizona Cardinals.
They overcame a 10-point lead in the final quarter by scoring a touchdown and a field goal to level the score, 20-20, and force the game into overtime.
However, Cardinals managed a field goal in overtime, giving Seahawks their ninth defeat of the season.
