the penalty area. The midfielder dribbled into the box and buried the ball into the far post, past Sounders goalkeeper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kasey-Keller-c20419.
The Sounders fought back and pressed the Revs throughout the remainder of the half. After Pat Phelan’s yellow card, the visitors grew cautious of the set-pieces – Sounders have been brilliant on free-kicks lately.
Sigi Schmid’s men took charge in the 34th minute and netted the first Rave Green goal to the score line.
Despite the cautions taken by the Revolution, Seattle scored their first goal directly from a set-piece. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Tyson-Wahl-c35653 line-up a free-kick 22 yards out of Matt Reis’ net and the looping shot ended up in the back of the net to tie the score line at 1-1.
However, the hosts would not settle for a tie and tallied another one six minutes later.
Good play had been evident in Seattle’s roster of late and the last game of the month was no exception for Sigi Schmid and company.

through pass inside the 18-yard box and the Uruguayan midfielder tapped the ball with inside of his right boot to knock the back of the net.
The Sounders ended the first-half with majority of the possession, holding on to the lead.
The hosts almost scored the third goal of the game just minutes into the second period. Servando Carrasco’ s right-footed shot ricocheted towards the frame and hit the crossbar, so did Zach Schilawski’s volley minutes after, when he fired one from 30 yards
out.
Revs’ striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shalrie-Joseph-c33235, nearly levelled the score line half way in to the second period, however, Keller was brisk with his hands to block the Grenadian’s header.
The Sounders bossed the remainder of the game with frequent shots on goal off, threatening Reis, but could not add more to the score line.
The Rave Green ended June with three wins in row to add to the two draws from the start of the month.
