Seattle Sounders FC vs. Houston Dynamo - Major League Soccer - Week 2 Preview
2011 Major League Soccer season enters its second week and Seattle Sounders have their third match scheduled for this Friday, March 25th. The Lamar Hunt US Open Cup champions face Houston Dynamo at Qwest Stadium in Washington.
Both the teams started off their respective seasons on disappointing notes. Houston Dynamo lost the season opener to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Los-Angeles-Galaxy-c39818 and New York Red Bulls, home and away respectively. Both the matches ended in disappointment for the Seattle fans as the Sounders failed make their possession count.
On the other hand, the visitors do not fall far from the grid. Houston soccer followers saw their team being dominated in their own backyard; Robertson Stadium. Despite the Orange dominating the entire 90 minutes, the game ended 0-1 against Dominic Kinnear’s men.

It is about time that the Washington-based team grabs the opportunity of playing a side that has not seen good days since the start of the league. The team should take on the visitors from the start and prove their Championship winning credentials.

Houston Dynamo
The team lost the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dominic-Oduro-c11508 to an injury earlier this week and Calen Carr will have to fill the gap left by the Ghanaian. The team has already struggled on the offensive front, and Oduro’s absence will be a big blow.
Die Oranje defence has been in good shape and the department comes into this game on the back of a satisfying preseason. The team conceded only ten goals in 12 matches it played prior to the regular season.
Dynamo has played only one match thus far this term, and passing a judgement on their composure at this point in the season will be too early. Friday’s opposition, however, will go all out for a victory. The reigning Open Cup champions are more than likely to find their way to the net. Will Bruin, Jason Carey and Carr will have a lot of responsibility on their shoulders in addition to facing the opposing crowd at Qwest Stadium.

Prediction
Both the teams face each other after losses in their respective season starters. However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Houston-Dynamo-c39542 had a marvellous preseason and look to be in good shape. Seattle Sounders, on the other hand, will try to redeem themselves in the Friday’s scrimmage. A 2-2 stalemate is expected after 90 minutes of battling action.
