Seattle and a seafood dinner?

ME and my GF are 18, and i am really looking forward to taking her out on our 1 year anniversary. I was hoping i could surprise her with a seafood dinner, in seattle. My question is, where is hte best place for seafood.

Can a private room be reserved? ( for 2)

And any other information.

I have been saving for a year, and between everything i have around 500$ for this dinner. Cheap is good. Quality, and service are better.

McCormick and Schmick's on Lake Union has a really nice view, and if you let them know in advance about your reservation they'll customize your menus to have your names and what you're celebrating.  The food's great, we've always had great service, and the prices are much cheaper than what you've got saved so you could do something else for the evening other than just eat.

The best Seafood is at Shuckers on Fourth Avenue in the Fairmount Olympic Hotel.

For two people with wine, I usually pay $100.00.

I don't know about a private room for two but there are plenty of excellent Seafood restaraunts in Seattle.

If you want a great view there is the aforementioned Salty's on Alki.  This place is really mainly about the view though.

I also like Chandler's Crab House on South Lake Union and Ivar's Salmon House on North Lake Union.  They are both right on the water and have great food and service.  

The original Ivar's on the Seattle Waterfront is also an excellent choice for view and food.

I don't know of any restaurant that would provide a private room for just two. However, these restaurants may provide you with the best table in the house!

Ray's boathouse- the best seafood, period. Beautiful views of the Puget Sound!
