Sebaceous cyst - cures?

Does anyone know of a way curing sebaceous cysts without having them surgically removed?

  1. have you seen the doctor and is it definitely a cyst - I had one on my neck and it was an inflamed lymph node and they investigated for cancer but it turned out ok and disappeared after a year. For a cyst doc can give antibiotics


  2. Sebaceous cysts can become infected, but they are not primarily an infection problem, but one of a blocked sebaceous gland with the waxy material backing up, causing the cyst. In general terms the only management is surgical. If they are small only a tiny incision is needed, the cyst then shells out and the wound is sutured.

  3. I had a bad one 2 years ago and had it removed.Thought i was having another this year so saw the doc and he gave me anti biotics which made it go down then so a specialist who said it was caused by sweat glands blocking and suggested a deep cleansing face wash which seams to do the trick,
