The Crociati President reveals that the striker has told him that he would either stay at Parma or move back to Juventus; stresses the co-ownership deal with the Champions needs to be resolved.
Tommaso Ghirardi has revealed Sebastian Giovinco’s plans for the future, and insists that the striker informed him that he would either stay with Parma or move back to Juventus.
The Crociati forward has attracted interest from all over Europe, but his future has been clouded by doubts arising from the co-ownership deal between the Bianconeri and the Crusaders.
Ghirardi admitted interest from a lot of clubs stating that frequent queries have been made about the aggressor, but insisted that there have been no serious offers as yet.
The Gialloblu President stated that the first priority for him is to resolve the issue of the co-ownership with the Old Lady, and insisted that the shared contract will hinder any proposed move for Giovinco.
While talking to Sky Sport Italia, the Italian businessman said:
“A lot of sides have asked us about Giovinco, but there are no real offers on the table. We firstly need to speak with Juventus. That will happen soon so that we can sort out his co-ownership status. There will be plenty of time
for other scenarios.”
When asked on his opinion about the future destination for the striker, the Gialloblu President stated that he believes that the aggressor will either stay at Parma or move to Juventus.
However, he insisted that if a club wants to offer a lot of money for Giovinco, then that could change the mind of the player as well as the owner clubs.
The Gialloblu patron insisted that he has also spoken to the goal-scorer on this matter, and he also sees his future destination to be one of the two co-owners.
“I think that he’ll either stay here with us of re-join Juventus. But then if a club wants to offer a lot of money than anything can happen, but these are difficult financial times. I’ve spoken to Sebastian and he told me that
he wants to stay here or go to Juventus.”
Ghirardi stated that a lot depends on Juventus, who can easily buy him off Parma, and make him a permanent figure in their playing eleven.
