The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 midfielder has come out and said that Theo Walcott’s goal was a fluke which cannot be reproduced if the Englishman tried it again as England grabbed all three points against Sweden to cement their chances
of progressing into the quarterfinals...
Larsson has come out and made it clear that Theo Walcott’s goal against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sweden-c3015 was a fluke and that it cannot be reproduced in the same manner with the same result by the Arsenal forward. Walcott came on in the second half for
England when the Three Lions were losing to Sweden by two goals to one and then scored the equalizer to make it 2-2.
After that Walcott provided the assist for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 the win. Sweden were knocked out as a result from the EURO 2012 competition as their last match is against France and the race for the second place
spot is between http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ukraine-c3032 and England.
Sweden came into the tournament as underdogs but after losing their first two matches against Ukraine and England, they have to exit now in a disappointing fashion after playing their last group stage encounter against France.
Larsson and co. did well against England but the Three Lions were ruthless on the counter attack despite Ibrahimovic and co. impressing at the other end of the field.
Larsson said, "Walcott's goal? Come on, it's a thing that happens once. If he tries it a thousand times he won't score again, that's the truth.  I think by quite some margin we were the better team but that doesn’t matter, England
got the points and we are out.”
He added, "I don't want to think that we have been unlucky or not, we went out and that's it, we were leading in both games after an hour and we haven't come away with any points, that’s the biggest disappointing thing of them
all."
It will be interesting to see how Sweden approach their last match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 as Les Blues are in a high run of form and given the threat that England might score a big win against Ukraine, they will be aiming to increase their
own goal difference as well.
