Sebastian Vettel on the move at the Korean International Circuit

Sebastian Vettel qualified in pole position for the second time in a row and believes that he is finding his momentum. Sebastian had a limited run in his car up until the qualifying session but got the job done for himself and his team. The German will have
a better chance of winning than his teammate since he is more aggressive and is going to start from the cleaner side of the track as compared to his teammate. Mark Webber must come up with a strategy for the remaining three races of the season if he wants
to win this year’s title. Otherwise, his rivals will take full advantage of Webber’s defensive nature and strike him off the world championship race.
“The difference in the end with so little running yesterday and this morning was basically to get into a rhythm. Some corners are quite tricky to understand how they work, especially turn nine, ten and eleven, the long left hander which is nicely cambered
but then leads into an off camber right-hander turn 12,” said Vettel.
Sebastian thinks that there are a lot of things a people have to understand about the kerb. It is a little too much and sometimes, the drivers are forced to go into the dust and that obviously affects the next corner.
Vettel added that keeping in mind that his team Red Bull might not have a better car than their rivals this weekend, the team will not suffer much on the track with the exception of the long straight.
“It wasn't easy but I think as usual when it comes to corners we know our car is very good. When it comes to a straight line we are doing our best, our f-duct is improving and getting better so that helps but there is not much we can do so we have to fight
back even harder in the corners,” he said.
The German driver believes that taking the pole position on the inaugural qualifying session of the Korean Grand Prix was a huge achievement for the team especially after the smooth running during the practice sessions. He claims that he had to work hard
on the track after struggling in the practice sessions and it was quite a difficult challenge for the team as no one knew how to set-up their cars on the new track.
Sebastian was satisfied with his performance and this will definitely boost his title hopes to cloud 9.
