Red Bull Racing driver Sebastian Vettel has secured a pole place for the 2011 Indian Grand Prix on Saturday, October 29 at the newly constructed Buddh International Circuit.
After the successful practice sessions in India, all the teams took part in the qualifying round and the drivers finished the session by using the sets of soft and hard tyres by Pirelli.

The Brit was closely followed by Red Bull Racing’s other driver Mark Webber, who was 0.330 seconds off the pace of Vettel in Q3 and ended his run at the third position.
Ferrari drivers Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa were found at the first two positions for some time, but in the closing moments of Qualifiers, Hamilton and Vettel snatched the positions from the Ferrari pair.
Alonso and Massa will start the race from the fourth and sixth places on the opening grid respectively.
The Woking-based outfit driver Jenson Button was unable to secure a position for Sunday’s race in top three. He will start the race from the fifth position tomorrow.
Mercedes GP’s Nico Rosberg slots in the seventh position at the end of Q3.
Adrian Sutil of Force India impressed by managing an eighth position for the team for the Indian Grand Prix.
Both Toro Rosso drivers Sebastien Buemi and Jaime Alguersuari successfully secured ninth and tenth places respectively for the Indian race weekend in Q3.
