im doing a project and i want to know how many people work for the company , where its plant are and other companies it own, is it owned by another company, its start up cost , availability of financing,(resources required) , also any other pertrinent information related to operations.

On November 14, 2006, Second Cup became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dinecorp Hospitality Inc, a company controlled by Gabe Tsampalieros, Chairman of Second Cup and former CEO of CARA.

That's on their Website.  

It's a private company in Canada.  Good luck.  One thing you can try is looking at Starbucks latest annual report or their 10K or 10Q filings with the SEC.  Looking at the competitors may help you answer some of your questions.
