Second Life - beginner, please help???

How do I play, I have the game, I walk around, I'm not sure how i get a job, house, money etc what do I do, help please :(

If you click on "Search" in the Second Life viewer, then search for NCI you can teleport to one of the NCI locations where there are many people available to help you learn, try the Kuula location, it tends to be busiest.  They offer classes and have many notecards with the information you're looking for.

sounds like your still on oriantation island, if you are there is a billboard at the beginning you touch to get to the next training island, once on the second training island there is a second billboard (or something) to get you into second life itself.

as for buying houses land ect, you need to setup a paypal account and fund your second life ac with that, you also need to be a paying member in order to own land, it pretty straight foward in the second life tutorials.

also the search function is your best friend, try searching for terms like "free"
