Second ferret help??

Question

okay so my mom said i could get another ferret IF i pay for it and of course get a new cage since the cage i have now wouldn't be big for 2 but anyway should i get another one? i mean i would have to pay for it like i did for my ferret but my parents will buy the treats,food,and shampo and other grooming stuff but what is the pros and cons? my ferret really wants a pet friend she always trys to play with my cat but he would just slap her!! and a dog we used to had loved playing with the ferret but he pooped to much in the house so what would i expect from a second ferret and what should i have before getting one??

btw my ferret is very social with other animals and LOVES to share with others :)

I hope you and your parents are aware of the veterinary cost of having ferrets!!  Ferrets are VERY prone to many illnesses as they age and require veterinary care.  Right now my two old girls, Callie and Molly cost me $200.00 a month for their prednisnone and lupron shots, every month for the rest of their life!  I would suggest educating yourself on ferret illnesses 'before' getting a second ferret.  Here is a great website that goes over the common illnesses ferrets get.

I would get your fuzzy a playmate if your aloud to. I would just read up on common illness and symtoms and prepare yourself. There are such a joy to watch play.
