Question:

Second grade sharing ideas?

My cousin has a sharing demonstration for her second grade class where she has to show the class how to make or do something (bake a cake, tie a shoelace). I'm absolutely out of ideas, and I'm wondering if anyone would be kind enough to share any creative new ones or any traditional ones to make her project super awesome? Thanks =)

  1. the cat's cradle thing with the string, not a lot of kids know that, even i dont know it lol..

or how to do a cool trick with your hands or some other thing. how to make a clay model of something, how to bake a cake/cupcake etc, how to make a homemade parachute.

  2. I have 2 daughters and have ahd to do this twice now.. The first child did ants on a log and the second child did pigs in a blanket simple fast and good!!

  3. What a great idea, it gives the kid confidence at a young age to speak in front of a group. I might try this with my Brownie girl scouts next year.

I think some kind of food she can share with the class would be awesome.

How to bake cupcakes or decorate or both

How to make ants on a log

    How to make a pizza

It would also be cool to make something

how to make friend ship bracelet

How to plant  a flower- she could give it to her teacher

    How to make a puppet

    How to make SWAPS

    How to do any craft

I would have her practice at home a couple times. And make up index cards of the steps of the project. It's really easy to leave out a step or mix them up when you get nervous
