Second hand smoke? How to get rid of dryness.?

Okay so I was in the same car as my friends mom and she was smoking and my parents don't smoke, or anyone else in my family so I'm not used to it AT ALL . But anywho, my mouth more of my through is really dry during school today and it still is. So I'm drinking a lot of water what else can I do to get it out of my system?

Don't ride with her anymore....there should be a law against adults smoking when there are kids in the car......or any non-smoker.
