Second interview over team drinks

Question

Hello, I have been asked for a second interivew with a really good firm. However they want to have it over drinks in the evening with the rest of the team!! How do I this? Why are they doing it this way?? Any ideas or experiences of this out there?? Cheers xx

Its to see what kind of charachter you are, people tend to relax in a social atmosphere and especially after a few drinks and the true charachter tends to come out. Do be careful how much you drink but don't be reserved when they offer drink to you. Try and get involved and talk quite alot but don't come across as self-opinionated. Be friendly and be yourself and most importantly relax.

haha conisder yourself lucky..i wish i can have drinks over a d**n interview ..it would sure make things a whole lot easier

Occasionally, second interviews will take place off-site, in a bar or restaurant, for example. There’s a very good reason for this - your interviewer may want to check out your interpersonal skills by seeing how you react in an informal setting. This technique is also used to catch you off guard and tempt you into saying something you might not say in a more formal environment. Be on your guard. Alcohol can often make you say something you regret so wait to see what your interviewer is drinking before ordering yours, and never fall into a trap of drinking too much too quickly.
