Second line on OPK getting darker at 9 DPO, b***s sore going downstairs

Okay, so I've been watching my OPK's for a while now and this month I started ovulating on the 13th day of my cycle (normal for me for a 28 day cycle) and dh and I normally go at it like bunnies. About 2 dpo I felt an odd sensation in my uterus and on 3 dpo noticed that my cm was still very much like it is on ovulation day which is a little longer than it should have been. 5 dpo the second line on my opk vanished but oddly came back on 8 dpo and today (9 dpo) it was darker than yesterday but still lighter than the control, also I have heart burn today. I know this probably doesn't mean anything or I could be imagining it all but why would the second line of an opk vanish and reappear 3 days later and get darker?

You could actually be pregnant as well (in which case congrats).

OPK tests for LH spike.  LH is very similar to HcG hormorne which is the pregnancy hormone and OPKs can register positive with HcG.  The fact that it OPK came back and got darker line at 9dpo could ALSO mean that you are pregnant.  My wife used OPK to first test pregnancy (which was positive as well), and then tested with early HPT (positive at 9dpo).  The sore boob is also a very good sign that progesterone levels are quite high (this happens during luteal phase and also during pregnancy).

So, you may want to actually go out and buy an early HPT (that works at 10dpo).  It may very well be positive for you (hopefully).

I know from experience that the two week wait sucks.  My surrogate had ALL of the symptoms last month and then AF showed up.  Sometime the extra progesterone from ovulation and wishful thinking can take over.  Good Luck and Baby dust!  Test 12-14 days ofter ovulation.
