Question:

Second offense?

About two years ago I "talked" to an undercover woman cop and was charged with solicitation and I believe lewd and lascivious conduct..(all I did was talk)...the plea bargain was to "disburbing the peace" which is a misdemeanor..one year probation and a fine... this was in Oakland, California..

I want to know what happens if I get convicted of a similar offense again..let's say the same offense...is it "big" trouble or not..is it a felony the second time or is it still a misdemeanor...?

Thanks...

  1. The courts will show what the original charge was and what you were allowed to plead it down to. If caught soliciting a second time, I will pretty much guarantee the courts will NOT be understanding and you will have a s*x crimes charge on your permanent record plus do some county time.

Best advice: dont do it. Not worth it on your record.

Best of luck and I hope this is useful to you

  2. if its for the same offense you might be doing some time this time around
