  1. dont worry, it takes almost a year sometimes to get the periods regular. for my friend, she didtn get her second one until a year in a half later, and not she still has it a little off. and shes had it for 4 years now. so relax...plus just wear pantyliners until u get it regular, jus in case. and then the next time u get it again, start marking it down until uk when ur definetly gonna get it again

  2. Relax :) It's very normal for your body to be really crazy when you first start getting your period. It's also normal for you to skip a few months of having it at first, so don't freak out or anything.

If you have a bit of bleeding still, I'd recommend wearing a smaller pad...just in case, you  never know what can happen. Especially at this age.

Also, always always carry a pad with you in your purse/backpack because as I said.. you never know.

Don't worry, and don't compare yourself to your friend's period cycle. She's been getting hers for a year, its a bit more stable (though not much) than yours. But everyone is different.

You'll be fine..just don't panic, and always be prepared

  3. Okay it takes almost a year to have your cycle get on a proper track. Get a calender and mark it every time you have yours. And you might get about 3-4 weeks after your first but if you don't just keep protected.

  4. wear them the next time you start bleeding. you cannot tell when this will be at all, as you wont be regular yet - it takes at least a year to get regular.

dont worry! and theres nothing you can do to make it, or prevent it from coming so just always be prepared (carry pads with you).

    good luck!

  5. Hi there!

You don't have to worry about it. It's normal that your second period is late even several months. It may get a year or more to have normal period every 28 days. But I suggest not to wear pads all the time. If your really worried maybe you can wear pads when you're out but absolutely NOT wear one when you're at home. Don't forget pads are made of some plastic so it's not the best thing for you to wear this all the time! Try to wear pads only when you really need to..

    Hope was helpful...

  6. I have that problem too :S

    Its really nerve wracking

Especially if Im going on holiday

There isn't really a way to tell when it will come . You may start getting tummy cramps but that may just be ovulation or PMT . All you can do is whenever you go out make sure you have a spare pare of nicks and a pad . It will take about a year for them to settle down into a routine but it could take as long as 2 years .

    Good luck x

  7. When you first start your periods you can be really irregular so there is no way of knowing. The best thing to do is try and stop worrying about it and just make sure you always have a towel in your bag in case you need it. When it does come again it won't be alot anyway so you won't make a mess anywhere.

  8. First, a big hug on reaching this special stage in your life.

What I used to do when I first started was to just keep a pad with me all the time incase. That way I was never taken completely off guard. I bet you do that already though :)

Another thing I still do is to mark down in my diary the date I took my last period, and then count to the next one and put a little asterisk on that day. That's not to say your period will come exactly on that day, especially during the first year!  But it gives you an idea when it might be due.

Sometimes I even wear a pad coming up to that date, even though my period hasn't arrived yet.  Then I don't have to worry if it comes when I'm out in a crowd of people, at a party, for example.

Here's a little info that might help:

During the first year or so of having your period, your body may be working at getting into a period "routine." You might have your first period and then not have another one for a few months. Or, you might have a few periods and skip one a few months down the road.

Even while your body is establishing your normal pattern, there are other things that can affect your period. For example, if your body has too little fat on it or you are exercising too much, your period can stop or your cycle can be lengthened. So no skipping meals, ok?

Please don't worry about not being exactly the same as your friend. Every girl is that little bit different, and periods can be different too. You're perfectly normal :o)

Hope that eases your mind a bit. Once again, don't worry, everything will be fine, and you will soon start to get an idea of when your period is coming.

    All the very best
