Second prenatal visit?

I am 7 wks 5 days pregnant today, and will be 8 wks 1 day on the day of my appointment. It will be my second visit. What should I expect? I've heard of ultrasounds, sonograms, and dopplers being done. Which one should I expect, or do you request a certain one? I would love to have an ultrasound done. I know you wont see much other than a blob in the uterus, but it would still be special. I also want to see/hear the heartbeat. The fact that I am pregnant still hasnt sunk in, despite 3 positive tests, being 25 days late, and numerous symptoms.

What did you have done on your second appointment if you were this early?

I had my second visit pretty late in the pregnancy at 5 months so I dont know if it is going to be dif. but all i had done was the regular pee in the cup, measure the baby and listen to the heartbeat.
