Second test day wrapped up by Pedrosa, at Sepang
Dani Pedrosa, wrapped up the test session’s second day, being the fastest on track. Yesterday his teammate, Casey Stoner, stole the day to top time positions.
Today the Repsol Honda team claimed the top two timing positions with their competitive duo.
Dovizioso the third team mate managed to hit fourth place on the time chart. This season Repsol Honda will carry three drivers in their team. Honda has covered the top seven positions with different teams, hoping to win this season’s constructors title.
World Champion, Jorge Lorenzo, saved his place at seventh, as he was getting familiar with the new machine, following Hiro Aoyama in Gresini Honda. He was testing the new chassis of the M1.
Valentino Rossi, debuting with Ducati in full Marlboro red, struggled to place himself at 13th, ut seemed satisfied. Last season’s injury still seems to be preventing him from performing at optimum level, keeping him away to hit the top.
Ben Spies pulled his Yamaha M1 to third fastest, heading away from his team mate.
Crutchlow’s, Monster Yamaha, marked the 15th place, after getting caught in an incident he walked away at the same position.
