  1. Dress it up as you like but everyone knows it's an English song, that's why I object to Scots singing it, and why do you feel the need to fly flags in the first place? What other club in Britain waves a union flag? Nobody. Am tellin ya it's a west coast thing, I'm proud to be a Scot but I wouldn't fly a saltire at a United match, why would I? Now let's hear you try and justify why a section of your support wear England tops, can you?

  2. nothing wrong.

  3. Nothing sectarian or bigoted about flying a union flag or singing God Save The Queen but people don't have to like it.

The trouble is that it is an archaic institution that the flag wavers and Royalists are cheering on. The Queen is the Head of the Church of England, the royal line will NEVER have any Catholics involved, it actually says that in the constitution. So when you have figure head in charge of an organisation that is fundamentally biased against those subjects, then it is reasonable to assume that those same people will get their back up at the flag wavers. If the amount of Rangers fans who sing pro Royalty songs and upholding the Faith songs, went to church in Scotland, they'd learn better and the Protestant churches would not be closing down, due to lack of congregation. I know this to be true because I am on the Ecumenical Board in Glasgow. I speak to many out of work ministers.

So instead of shouting about it at matches, go along and sing about it at Church.

Flangee that was a brilliant link. I loved The s*x Pistols, punk will never die.

  4. The Union Jack is infact a bigoted flag. When the union flag was first produced many many years ago, its design was much different to what it is today. It had the scottish saltire to the front of the design, giving it an entirely different look. Over the years English dominence over Scotland allowed them to change the design to the one we have today, where the english cross of ST George is now the dominent design feature of the flag.

Does that not show a degree of sectarianism?

  5. fly the saltire, this says Scotland on the site not England, what has the Queen ever done for us?

Erm opened couple of hospitals and I heard she had a fartectomy fitted up here, dozy auld bag . God save the queen

well for a start, what makes anyone have to make us sing this to God hes a busy guy and why  save an OAP who is rich and really German?

  6. Who ever said that? You makin things up ya alzheimer victim.

I don't like the bloody thing as I'm Scottish and see it as an English not British anthem. Even if it has the anti-scottish verse out, it was still there in the first place ya root.

Why should I respect a country that took us over and rule us as they see fit. Do the Polish love the Germans, do Iraqis love the Americans, no they feckin well don't, so why do you love this imposed union so much?

  7. they can't explain because there is nothing to expalin..if they don't like it fine..thats their choice but to call someone a bigot for flying your countrys falg and honouring the queen is a bit much..they are the ones with the problem...the ones with the problem won't answer this..they will just thumb down all our answers..

    see...what did i say..lmao

  8. its English.

when i joined the service, there was no way i was pledging my life to a crown that isnt of my nation, i plegded myself to Scotland and the men, women and children that make it. We are a collection of small countries and we combine in things like trade, the Olympics, world politics and our forces. United we stand together we fall

but god save the queen is NOT my, or my fellow scots national anthem and i must say, i would have booed and im no doubt opening myself to so much abuse and probably more people saying im not in the raf, but hey i would have booed

the union jack is NOT bigoted, it is made from all our flags and i wear it with dignity on my arm when in uniform, i would wear the Scotland flag with sheer pride, however it comes down to the united we stand remark above.

God Save the Queen really should not be the anthem of N.Ireland, nor should it be the one for Great Britain, i think its time for a United Anthem, not an English one

  9. i'm not a great fan of flag waving as a rule, erra, it's not bigoted as such but unfortunately the british flag has also become a symbol for racists, tories and xenophobes...  but you can wave it if you like.

i wouldn't advocate waving any other flag either, by the way.

as for the so-called 'national' anthem...  fucksake, i wouldn't say it was bigoted either, but it is the worst national anthem in the world...  a sycophantic dirge in celebration of an inbred family of tax-dodging scroungers...  how could that give anyone pride?

  10. In twenty years time we won't be singing it anymore.

We'll be singing God save the King.

    Get well soon friend.

  11. Don't know the answer, if there is one.

I DO know why I dislike the song, cause it is the English national anthem, if 'Britain' had a different one then fine, I would respect it but having that nonsense as a British anthem is wrong and it comes across as 90% English, 8% N.Irish, 1% Welsh and 1% Scottish

  12. It's like what is sectarian about flying an Irish flag?

Answer to your question - nothing

  13. im no repeating it again but i really think it was funny enough for ten points.need it,just had anither violation.women and pmt,eh.

  14. Maybe something to do with the Royals being the same as the Orcs... Parasites.. .... Ignorant idiots flying Union flags and wearing England football tops in Scotland?? ...  Wallace & Co' must be turning in their graves.

  15. Nothing wrong at all - it's just that in Britain, we're not allowed to be British, as it offends other religions.

  16. I can't think of any other country on earth where you may be considered a bigot for being proud of your nationality, or for singing the national anthem.  Scotland is part of Great Britain, and always will be.  I am proud to be a Scot, but am also British by birth.  It's ionic that many who find fault in that are extremely hypocritical, in that they chose to place their allegiance to a foreign nation, (Republic of Ireland),  most common 'excuse' being they have an Irish Granny/Aunt/Uncle/5th cousin/whatever.

My advice is be proud to be British, and sing the national anthem as often as you like.

  17. SING IT LOUD AND SING IT PROUD

  18. did anyone say it was?

if that's what you want to carry and sing it's your choice, if I don't then that is my choice.

as I said before I get a lot of abuse living here being English and that makes me laugh as it comes from a lot who carry union jacks...now you either want to be with me or you don't...

    that's my only problem...

  19. it was still there you dumb f**k!
