I did this experiment which requires a stopwatch. Now I have to write that data in my lab report in a table. How do I write it? For example, 1 second and 65 milliseconds. Should I write it like 0:01:65 (wouldn't it be 1 minute?)?? Or should I write it like 0:01 65 (to indicate there is a millisecond)? I'm so confused!!! Please help me.

By the way, for the table labels, should I write "Time (sec/milli sec)"...?

  1. I'd just write "Time (s)", and then write the time as 1.065.

  2. "1.065 seconds", that's how I'd write it.
