Secret Destination destined to win Dianne Nursery
The Brain Ellison-trained bay filly, Secret Destination, is destined to seal the ace title of the Dianne Nursery, a Class 4 contest that will take place at Pontefract racecourse on Tuesday, July 10.
On the soft track of 6 furlongs, the action will begin at 2:30 (GMT). For the prize cheque worth £3,429, the two-year-old novice runner will compete against seven strong rivals. This is going to be her fourth consecutive going on a soft ground.
Previously, the fantastic filly has delivered outstanding performances at Southwell and Carlisle. This is the reason she seems to be the strongest candidate for today’s event.
The brilliant daughter of Dubai Destination out of Every Whisper started her career at Beverly in April 2012, finishing 7th in the Andy Taylor Snr Is 70 Today Maiden Auction Stakes (Div 1) over 5 furlongs.
She moved ahead to get a runner-up rank in the British Stallion Studs 32red.Com E B F Novice Stakes over 5 furlongs, held at Southwell on April 24. She again finished as a runner-up in the very next outing.
Finally, the Jtz International-bred maverick sprinter marvellously broke her maiden by winning the Edinburgh Woollen Mill/European Breeders’ Fund Maiden Stakes over 6 furlongs. She was 7-4 favourite for the race that went down at Carlisle on June 27.
Thus, Secret Destination is carrying immense winning momentum that will drive her well in the coming contest. She has up to 90 percent chances to thrive.
However, the hot favourite filly will have to face a lot of resistance from Super Simon who is h**l-bent to break his maiden today. The Paul D’Arcy-trained bay colt has never gone out of the podium in his three-race career so far.
Debuting with a runner-up rank on June 7, 2012, the rookie runner finished 3rd against 13 rivals in the very next race on June 14. This was British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing EBF Maiden Stakes over 6 furlongs, held at Nottingham.
The son of Redback out of Spectina elegantly gained another runner-up rank in his last start on June 29. Now, he is all set to unleash a big run at Pontefract.
Thus, there will be a neck-to-neck fight between these two runners. Let us see who turns to be winner. Good luck to the duo.
