Secret millionaire? what do you think?

do you think a lot of the needy people know in advance that the secret millionaire is a millionaire? sometimes they burst into tears of happiness before he offers them the money, as though they expect it

Personally I am in two minds about this programme. Often it's a lot of self-congratulatory ego massaging of the rich especially when they don't give away much as a percentage of their wealth but on other times like the amounts given away last week it is touchy and has me in tears.

Remember the poor man who gives away his last penny has donated MORE than the millionaire who gives away £10,000.

thats before the person tells them they are rich, its obvious to all, and them, what comes next (the money giving)

They must know something, you'd be suspicious if a volunteer in your workplace started asking so many questions. If you had seen the series aswell i'm sure they would recognise the process. Where do they find so many millionaires.

Never seen it myself but oh how magnanimous of them. It's all good publicity for them though huh ?

Like all so-called reality television, this is all arranged in advance.

You can't fill the place with lights and cameras and microphones, without people realising what is going on.

It does show the sad state of human society though, that this sort of show has to be made, at all.

The discrepancy between the rich and the poor is already far too great and this sort of thing just emphasises it.

Secret millionaires ......  their identities are  no longer secrets now. lol

Honestly, if the program is real and the intentions are for real. Bless them all. If they are truly millionaires/ real people and really helping others, I salute them.

But do we think that this program is for real?

I wonder.

Helping others, helping those people in needs are the greatest human works. Truly joy and rewarding.

All I know is ... the wrong people always win the lottery! They are either old and dont even need it or are well off anyway or are bleetin criminals!

If someone turned up at my workplace supposedly as a "volunteer" accompanied by a channel four film crew , then I think that would be a slight giveaway!

I think some of them may think that he/she are not what they seem but if anyone saw it last week I don't think the blind guy had a clue.
