Secret rooms in houses?

Question

Do you have a secret room in your house?

Or have you ever been inside of a secret room in someone else's house?

I just moved with my parents to a new state and we bought a house with a secret room.

It is my room now. haha

But you go down a hall way and in one of the many closet doors there is a stair case that leads to another level.

The room is very big, it also has its own double sink bathroom with a shower and a huge walk in closet.

Have you ever seen anything like this in person?

i want a secret room! but not a secret passage way. that's way too creepy.

I have, they refer to it as the "safe room"  it is disguised so you would not find it.  We had an old house growing up on the landing of the stairs heading to the second floor was a door concealed, you had to lean into it to pop it open.  It was basically the inside of the house with 2 back stair cases and a room with no window but a sink and toilet in it.  We were told this was for the servants back in the day.  It lead down to the basement and up to the third floor.  I loved that room!!
