Secret to getting good bat?

ive always heard if you buy a bat from a store you can use it for about 8 months or till you feel like its losing pop. then you dent it and send it back and get a new one and it will be the best bat you ever had. i heard at the stores its kinda hit and miss. sometimes you get a good bat and sometimes you dont. i just wanna hear you secrets.

the best bat is the one that feels good in your hands and one that you feel you swing with ease. I would not recommend trying to purposely dent a bat to get a new one and hoping that one is the best. I would suggest that you do not buy a bat that you wither are not comfortable with or one that you have not swung yourself. Each batter is different and each bat is made differently so you need to find one that is best for you!

a good bat is one that is not to heavy for your swing...you should be able to snap at the point of contact!
