Secretary's day?

so ... administrative professional day is coming up and we all want to throw a party for our lady! she is so great and keeps us all organized. What can we do... I don't just want to send flowers or lunch. she deserves much more

All of you should pitch in on a gift certificate for her to her favorite restaurant or store.  I really love giving gift cards to Macy's since they have everything - designer shoes & handbags, makeup, clothes, even home items.  Really covers your bases.  A nice restaurant that she could enjoy with her spouse or a friend would be special too.

I think the gift cards are the way to go because then the present is totally about her, not sharing everything with the office.

I love the idea of a plant & think potted orchids are a beautiful go to.

If you really want to get some kind of treat for everyone to enjoy, you might want to consider an edible bouquet.  They are a little different & much healthier than the typical donuts or cookies.  I love these!  http://www.ediblearrangements.com/

How about getting her a "spa day" certificate?  Put it in a basket of things from Body & Bath, with a candle....

Find out what kind of food she likes and have it catered to your office or business. That way everybody can enjoy and spend more time with this terrific lady. Doesn't have to be expensive. It's the thought that counts and the time you all spend with her. She'll appreciate that much more.

Our bosses get us great big hanging flower baskets that we take home and lasts all spring and summer on the patio/deck.

During lunch time, have other staff bring in some appetizers like chicken wings, mini subs, meatballs, chips, and dip. Just have a little party for her and make her a nice gift basket filled with items from bath and body works. Also, a cake would be nice. Have the bakery put something sentimental in icing or just have it say thank you! Also, get her a card signed by the staff.
