Will a section 136 (Mental Health Act) show up on a criminal records (CRB) check?

Yes, I think it will. My husband has a mental illness and his lawyer told him that he cannot purchase a legal gun because of his mental health record. He has never used a gun or anything like that, but he asked about inheriting one and was told that it was not legal to do so. This is how I know that once you have a mental health record, it stays with you for the rest of your life. I do not know if there is a way to get this record removed, but perhaps there is.
