Section 8 housing inspection failed?

My section 8 house failed inspection on the 30th of last month.

The landlord needs to do 2 or 3 major things to pass and has made no effort to do so. I am 10 days from reinspection. WHat will happen if the landlord fails?

they will NOT pay rent until it passes inspection so she won't get her money. Have you reminded her that they are coming back in 10 days. I had a landlord that ALWAYS for 5 years would do that..If Sect. 8 was coming back on the 5th, he would come over on the 4th and fix it.. He was too stupid to think "what happens if something goes wrong and I can't get it fixed today" or "what happens if they come a day early".. which they have a habit of doing..  You cannot be evicted for landlords failure to do his part.  If he doesn't fix it in 4-5 days I would go by Sect 8 or call them and ask them what will happen.. do you need to pay rent EVEN if she doesn't fix it and it doesn't pass or what..they will tell you...I don't think you have to pay rent your portion until it passes..
