Im going to add blonde to my hair on sunday but the salon im going to offers Sectional Highlighting and Partial Highlighting, could anyone tell me the difference?

I want to only get the top of my head highlighted not my whole head, so what is my best option of the two?

  1. partial is the best if you only want the crown of your head highlighted. i have partial highlights and they did it only on the top of my head instead of the whole thing. :DD

  2. A partial highlight usually includes the top and sides of the head.  A full is the whole head and sectional is a certain section of the head.  If you just want the top ask for a crown or sectional highlight.

  3. Tell them you want 10 highlights on your crown (top of your head) which is basically partial foil.  I think a sectional foil is exactly how it sounds, certain sections of your hair.
