Our politcians want Afzal Guru to be released. Kashimr burns over a few acres of land allotment to the shrine and, the govt hurriedly withdraws the order.

Even after 60 years of indipendence caste and religion are the main base to obtain a govt. job. India has suffered a lot, thanks to our secular central governments so far.

  1. We have seen the drama of psuedo-secularism,we Indians

want UNIFORM civil code at the earliest. This will discourage

the vote bank politics, appeasement by a shrinking political

party which has ruled for over 60 years.

  2. Let Uniform Civil Code come first, the so called Secularism will follow it very firstly .

  3. The Uniform Civil Code/Law.. long as it is based on the commonality of nationalism... will automatically promote and foster equality of religions.. irrespective of ethnicity et al.

The word secularism is one of the most misused in India. It is touted by so called minority to promote narrow interests.. by pseudo nationalist politicians to garner votes... all the while pushing the ppl in whose name the word is used into a darker abyss.... Either clearly define the word-- or--- stop using it all.

You cant be using it to protect so called minority (muslim) interests in rest of India... and the majority (muslim) interests(so called) in J & K. In fact it has become synonymous with muslim fundamentalism & appeasement in India.

Just kill the differential laws.. create a uniform set of laws.. drawing the best from all available texts--religious-quasi religious... international laws-- or whatever...and make them applicable to all----- U cant have multiple NATIONALITIES in one nation.

The dichotomy is apparent in..... that polygamy. & 3 talaaq..banned in many- if not all Islamic countries -- (that Indian muslims look towards as inspiration) are still legit in India-- for muslims.. under the garb of sharia laws... HUMBUG !!!!!

    CASTES

well.. guess i did mention in one of my earlier posts... that the present system of caste creed based reservations will further the cause of mediocrity and flight of talent. Successive Govts have been bowing to the pressures from their poll managers to keep the reservations go up and up and up..... this is crass.. and fosters further mediocrity... even the creamy layer cap is being played around with-- to benefit the kin of the powerful bureaucrats and politicians selectively.

I am strong votary for strengthening the education at the grass roots... may be free education, clothing and food to kids upto class VIII.. irrespective of caste creed or whatever.. those desirous of going to pvt schools are free to do so anyways. This alone can bring about the up-liftment of the downtrodden.

For a limited  period of time..people from various scheduled//backward castes//tribes//groups may be given age relaxation of 1-5 yrs to qualify for the jobs// educational admissions.

  4. Having no connection with religion or the worldly church changes india all togehter .This will change india in a great way instead. The government in india should be open minded to religion and be able to overcome religious racial differences and become a better nation .David

  5. secularism only

  6. i think secularism because as you know there are 10000sof religions in india and so if the law is based on one particular religion then it would be unfair, but if the law is secular then everyone would benefit evenly
