I uninstalled virgin pcguard expecting to download avg antivirus,half way thro avg, a window tells me there is already a antivirus installed,i checked on my security centre ,all the services where on, firewall is running,( on checking the windows firewall that shows off, )so i wonders, whats on and running then, under antivirus i click and am told windows live one care reports that its up to date and virus scanning on,my problem there are no antivirus/firewall programmes in add/remove or accessories, i cannot see just what is running as my security,i only uninstalled virgin pc guard because of loading problems,as i can see no icons for these programmes where would i find such programmes,or would you leave well as im shown in security section alls green up and running.
i have uninstalled windows live one care but it doesnt make no change in the security centre.
