I have an outdoors wired security camera that is connected to my TV with A/V cords (red, white and yellow). I want to hook it up to my home PC. What do I need to do this? Talk english cuz I don't understand computer lingo!

  1. Here's a thought...  sometimes just the visual presence of a security camera will thwart a thief. (At a lot less cost).

    Did you ever think about a fake security camera? It might do the job for what you need. Check out this site:

    Good Luck!

  2. i set mine up this way.  i went to circuit city and bought a "pctv hd ultimate stick."  it plugs into your computer via usb.  you can hook up your camera via the a/v cords.  you can record all the video to your comp hard drive with the software that is included.  also, it comes with a small antenna which you can use to pick up local over-the-air tv channels to watch and record on your computer.  this has worked great for me.  cost $100.

  3. I not sure, maybe something like this;

    Here the page with outer stuff may be more what you want;

    I not say buy here. I just browsed here to show you. Once you know more what you want then you can shop around for a good deal.
